This aluminium hi-torque servo saver is an aftermarket replacement for the Tamiya CC01 chassis and is supplied as a single set. It combines an aluminium saver body with a steel tie rod, and the 25T spline fits commonly used servo horns on many scale RC models. The assembly reduces shock transferred to the servo while keeping direct steering feel suitable for tuning and scale driving.
Designed for model-scale use only, this part replaces the original plastic saver to give a firmer link between the servo output and steering linkage. The aluminium body increases stiffness while the steel tie rod helps keep the linkage straight under load, helping balance protection with precise feedback.
Installation notes: remove the stock saver and check that your servo horn uses a 25T spline before installing, fasten linkages to the recommended thread engagement, and confirm steering centres after fitment. No electronic changes are required, although small transmitter trim adjustments may be needed to re-centre the servo.
