Adjustable aluminium front damper mount

This 2pcs aluminium mount is an aftermarket replacement for the front damper mounting area on the Tamiya CC01 scale RC chassis. It gives builders multiple mounting positions to change damper angle and leverage as part of suspension tuning while keeping scale-accurate fit and assembly methods.

The part is machined from aluminium to increase stiffness compared with common injection-moulded mounts, and its adjustable layout supports small changes to roll centre and shock geometry without major chassis alteration. It is intended for hobby use on models based on the CC01 platform.

Installation is straightforward: remove the original mount hardware, position the aluminium unit into the factory mounting area and secure with the model's existing screws, checking alignment and clearance before final tightening. Basic hand tools such as a hex driver are recommended, and installers should verify thread engagement and suspension travel during setup.

This item is compatible with

  • TAMIYA CC01
The item is supplied as a 2pcs set intended for the two front damper mount locations on a CC01 chassis.
No major chassis cutting is expected. The mount fits the CC01 front damper positions, but check local clearance and use the original mounting hardware where possible.
Altering the damper mounting position changes leverage and shock angle, which can shift roll centre and tweak initial response for more precise front-end behaviour.
