Aftermarket adjustable main shaft for CC-01

This adjustable main shaft is built as an aftermarket replacement for the TAMIYA CC01 scale chassis, pairing a lightweight 6061-T6 aluminium body with a hardened steel swing cross head to balance reduced rotating mass and long-term strength for scale crawling setups.

The shaft combines a 6061-T6 aluminium outer sleeve with hardened steel #45 cross head swing shafts, keeping the standard cross-pin interface while cutting unnecessary weight. The universal cross head improves steering angle and articulation on technical lines where extra wheel travel helps maintain traction.

The overall length measures 126mm and the unit is intended for short chassis layouts with a 240mm wheelbase. Installation requires basic disassembly of the CC-01 drivetrain to replace the factory main shaft with this adjustable unit, and it is designed for hobby-scale RC use only.

The kit ships with the small reassembly hardware noted in the original product notes and is aimed at tuning steering geometry and trimming drivetrain weight rather than altering the gearbox layout.
