This Tamiya roll is an RC-scale masking tape intended for paint masking tasks on model bodies and scale kits. The product is supplied as a 40mm wide blue roll, and it is used where controlled edge definition and temporary surface protection are required during paint work.

Common RC uses include masking body panels, shielding windows and decals from overspray, and creating crisp separation lines for multi-colour paint jobs. Applied directly to the model surface, it supports staged painting and selective coverage without affecting component fitment.

Handling tip: apply the tape to a clean, dust-free surface and press along seams to reduce bleed. Peel the tape after the paint is touch-dry to lower residue risk. Test on a scrap panel first to check adhesion and removal with your paint system.
