Race-inspired 1/10 Body for Scale BMW M3 GT2

The Tamiya 51396 BMW M3 GT2 2009 RC body set recreates the bold lines of the GT2 racer at 1/10 scale. Designed for hobbyists who want an authentic race look, this shell captures the aggressive aero and silhouette of the competition car.

Durable Polycarbonate Shell

Made from tough polycarbonate, the shell balances strength and flexibility so it holds up under track use while showing crisp panel detail. The material is easy to trim and accepts paints that bring out the car's contours.

Pre-set LED Positions for Realistic Lighting

The design includes marked mounting points for LED lights so you can fit front and rear illumination without guessing. When fitted, the lights add realism whether you are running at dusk or parking the car for display.

Fits Multiple Tamiya Chassis

This body is cut to work with TT-01 (normal wheelbase), TA05 and TB-03 chassis, giving owners flexibility to use it on common 1/10 Tamiya platforms. Check your mounting posts and wheel offsets when installing.

Complete Accessory Pack Included

The kit comes with silver metal plated light cases, screws, nuts, a decal sheet and masking seals so you have the hardware needed to finish the build with neat detailing.

Yes. The Tamiya 51396 shell is sized for TT-01 (normal wheelbase) as well as TA05 and TB-03, though you should confirm mount point alignment on your chassis.
Use the provided metal plated light cases and the marked positions on the shell. Secure LEDs to the cases, test polarity before final wiring, and use silicone tubing to protect leads where they pass through the body.
Wash the inside of the polycarbonate with mild soap, apply masking seals for trims and windows, then use polycarbonate-specific spray paints in light, even coats for best coverage and durability.
