Ready-to-run pre-painted Mustang GT4 shell

The Tamiya 47485 Ford Mustang GT4 Body Parts Set gives Canadian hobbyists a fast cosmetic upgrade for 1/10 scale on-road RC cars. With the body arriving pre-painted, you spend less time prepping and more time out on the track or the street circuit.

Pre-painted polycarbonate finish for a sharp look

Manufactured from durable polycarbonate, this shell is finished in PS-32 Corsa Gray with PS-31 Smoke and black accents for a factory appearance. Included black polycarbonate light cases add realistic detail without extra painting work.

Separate ABS fittings for accurate detail

To preserve scale character the kit includes separate ABS parts that form the side mirrors and rear wing. These pieces improve the visual accuracy of the Mustang GT4 style body.

Simple fitment and required trimming

Metal mounting parts are supplied so the body secures firmly to your chassis. The shell is shaped for a 257mm wheelbase (narrow tread) touring car chassis and fits a range of Tamiya platforms. Some trimming and basic assembly are required, such as cutting out the shell, reaming body post holes, applying the decals, and fitting the rear wing.

Yes. The Tamiya 47485 shell is designed for touring car platforms that use a 257mm wheelbase and narrow tread. Check body post positions on your specific chassis before final mounting.
Basic RC modelling tools will do: scissors or nippers for cutting, a reamer or hobby drill for post holes, and a hobby knife for fine trimming. No specialist painting tools are required since the shell is pre-painted.
Black polycarbonate light cases are included and fit into the pre-cut sections. The ABS mirrors and rear wing require attachment after cutting and decal application.
