The Tamiya 42326 TA-07 MS Chassis Kit marks an evolution of the TA07 platform, incorporating lessons from the TRF419XR to give racers a precise, competition-ready on-road package. It is aimed at enthusiasts seeking predictable handling and wide tuning scope.
Central to the TA-07 MS is a 2.25mm carbon fiber lower deck paired with a 2mm dual bridge-type vertical frame, a combination that increases rigidity while helping distribute mass for crisper cornering. Aluminum bulkheads add durability where stress is highest, creating a stable base for aggressive setups.
Drawing on TRF inspiration, the TA-07 MS uses TRF super short big bore dampers to improve contact patch stability. The kit offers three motor mount positions so drivers can adjust roll and traction characteristics, and its drive belts and diffs sit 2mm lower than the TA-07 Pro/R to aid traction under acceleration.
Tuning is simplified by features like the ball-bearing sway bar mounts and a new 20T center pulley that lower belt tension and smooth the drivetrain. With a final internal drive ratio of 1.85 versus the Pro/Rs 2.05, the package responds more quickly to throttle inputs on twisty circuits.
The Tamiya 42326 TA-07 MS Chassis Kit is well suited to experienced club racers and advanced hobbyists who want a highly adjustable 1/10 on-road platform with TRF-derived components and race-focused geometry.
