The Tamiya 42103 TA05MS chassis kit brings a refined on-road platform to experienced racers. It adapts proven TA05 architecture with TRF415-derived parts to deliver a stable, responsive package that rewards careful setup and track practice.

Lightweight Double-Deck Carbon Layout

The core of the TA05MS is a double-deck carbon fiber chassis built from a 2mm upper deck and a 2.5mm lower deck. This layered carbon construction improves torsional stiffness while keeping mass low, helping to centralize the motor, battery and electronics for improved balance and predictable handling.

Belt Drive 4WD and Handling Aids

The drive system uses a belt-driven 4WD arrangement with wide pitch front and rear pulleys for efficient power transfer. A front one-way unit helps reduce understeer and sharpens turn-in, while aluminum front and rear bulkheads keep the layout rigid without excess weight.

Suspension Options and Thermal Management
