The Tamiya 35311 kit recreates Russian Army assault infantry from the early phase of World War II with careful attention to period detail. These figures reflect the troops who fought in 1941 and 1942 and are aimed at modellers seeking historically accurate soldiers for frontline scenes.
This release contains five finely modelled figures posed for combat action. Included are a commander with a Tokarev pistol, two riflemen carrying Mosin-Nagant rifles, a grenadier ready to throw, and a figure with a Degtyaryov light machine gun. The figures wear early WWII uniform styles, a notable addition from Tamiya.
These 1/35 scale figures are designed to integrate with other military models for expanded displays, such as pairing with a BT-7 tank. The kit also supplies accessory detail opportunities like helmets, packs and small arms, plus decals for lapel insignia to boost realism.
