This 1/12 scale finished parts panel is produced as a display item in the Masterwork Collection, showing individual components from the Yamaha YZR-M1 Valencia arranged for viewing.
The Yamaha YZR-M1 from the 2005 World Championship season represented a development in Yamaha's four-stroke racing programme. Updates for 2005 included a reinforced frame, revised suspension and brake control systems, and an inline four-cylinder 990cc engine. The engine head was revised from a five-valve arrangement to four valves per cylinder to improve top-end performance and efficiency. The Valencia machine carried a distinctive white and red block livery for that event.
As a finished parts panel, this item displays selected components laid out for observation rather than being provided as a buildable kit. Each panel includes an aluminum nameplate and a unique serial number, with parts organised to highlight external shapes and surface detail. The piece is intended for display and study, offering a way to inspect part geometry without handling a complete assembled model.
A purpose-built display panel that preserves the visual layout of selected components from the Yamaha YZR-M1 Valencia, useful as a reference for model builders and collectors.
