This finished 1/12 scale plastic model is offered as part of Tamiya's Masterwork Collection and arrives ready for display without assembly.
The production Honda CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP debuted in 2019 as a road-going sportbike with strong circuit influence. It carries technologies developed for racing, including a high-output, liquid-cooled four-cylinder engine and aerodynamic bodywork with internal winglets on the side fairings. The SP specification concentrates on upgraded suspension and electronic features to improve track-capable handling while remaining usable on public roads.
The model is presented with emphasis on visual fidelity rather than construction. The finished replica reproduces the aerodynamic fairings and internal winglet profiles. The high-performance liquid-cooled four-cylinder engine is modelled with visible detail, and small parts such as bolts, the sprocket, and the chain are represented. The exhaust receives separate weathering to suggest a used appearance. Transparent components are moulded in a plastic selected for clarity. Metal stickers and metal fork-top parts are applied for extra realism, and wiring is represented using enameled wire. Tires are solid units with realistic texture. A display racing stand is included and the item is supplied in a windowed box suitable for in-box presentation.
A finished-scale representation targeted at collectors and display-oriented modellers who prioritise accurate external detail and an out-of-the-box presentation.
