The Tamiya 21149 model reproduces the 1981 Honda RS1000 with careful attention to the bike's silhouette and mechanical details. Finished parts like the cowling, drive sprockets and chainwork are modelled to give a convincing tabletop representation for display.
The real Honda RS1000 followed the RCB1000 and featured an air cooled 4-stroke DOHC 4-cylinder engine reported at 130hp. This kit reflects that era with accurate bodywork and engine shapes that echo the race bike's heritage and success at endurance events.
This version improves on the base assembly with a reshaped fuel tank, adjusted headlight placement and added cable runs. Engine and exhaust paint detail plus metallic stickers on the front fork contribute to a lifelike finish that collectors will value.
