This finished 1/12 scale motorcycle is offered as part of Tamiya's Masterwork Collection, presented as a display-focused reproduction of a 2006 Kawasaki racing machine.
The Kawasaki ZX-RR represented the marque's four-stroke racing prototype era after the factory return in the early 2000s. By 2006 the ZX-RR featured a high-capacity inline four-cylinder layout and bodywork developed for top-level circuit competition. The prototype achieved notable qualifying and race performances during that season, including several podium results for the factory team.
The kit arrives fully finished and requires no assembly. Exterior proportions and the race livery are captured to 1/12 scale, with surface detail enhanced by paintwork and pad-printed markings. The inline-four engine casting is shown on the model, and the exhaust follows the four-into-two-into-one routing used on the prototype, including the etched AKRAPOVIC marking on the muffler. Tires are molded in synthetic rubber for realistic appearance, and a racing-style display stand is supplied for static presentation.
This finished-scale representation emphasizes the bike's bodylines and engine silhouette, providing a ready-to-display option for collectors and display model enthusiasts.
