The Honda CB750F, launched in June 1979, is a landmark machine in modern motorcycle history. Praised for its engineering and styling, the CB750F became a standout in the 750cc class. This Tamiya 1/6 scale kit lets hobbyists faithfully reproduce the bike's iconic lines and mechanical detail.
Honda developed the CB750F in response to rising competition from Kawasaki's Z series, aiming for more power and refined looks. The CB750F used a 748cc DOHC layout with four valves per cylinder and produced about 70 brake horsepower. Its design drew on European CB900F cues and racing RCB expertise, raising expectations for 1980s sportbikes.
The model mirrors signature elements like the low handlebars, rear-set footrests and double cradle frame. Builders will find detailed air front forks, adjustable rear shocks, a racing-style front fender and accurate disc brake components that reflect the motorcycle's original engineering.
