Construction and Roller Compatibility

Manufactured from high grade carbon fiber at a 2mm thickness, this plate is about 40% lighter than comparable aluminium stays while retaining torsional stiffness for stability at speed. The design includes multiple mounting holes that accept 9mm, 13mm, 17mm, and 19mm rollers so you can experiment with different roller setups to match track lines.

Chassis Fit and Setup Notes

The Tamiya 15549 fits a broad selection of chassis types including MA, MS, VZ, FM-A, AR, VS, and Super-II. Some chassis and shell combinations may need small adjustments to achieve an ideal fit, which is common when tailoring a Mini 4WD to a particular track or driving style.

Finish and Care
