This 1/12 scale plastic assembly kit recreates the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-RR as a display-focused replica, with accessible bodywork and external detailing to support precise scale presentation.
The Kawasaki Ninja ZX-RR represented Kawasaki's return to four-stroke grand prix competition, introduced with a 990cc four-stroke engine. The project overcame early development challenges through steady updates and rider changes, including the addition of Shinya Nakano in 2004. The ZX-RR achieved competitive placings, its best result in the season being a second place at the Dutch round with Nakano aboard.
Kit details are limited to confirmed features. The kit reproduces the ZX-RR silhouette at 1/12 scale and provides serviceable body panels fastened by precision screws so builders can show or conceal internal areas for display. The rear suspension uses a realistic nut fastener and a small wrench is supplied to assist assembly. Decals are supplied as water-slide Cartograf sheets, and the synthetic rubber slick tyres carry Bridgestone branding. Markings are provided for two race numbers used on the ZX-RR.
A detailed static kit aimed at modellers who prioritise accurate external detail and display options; the assembly format supports exposed engine and chassis presentation through removable bodywork.
