This 1/12 scale assembly kit recreates the Team LCR Honda RC211V from 2006, made for modellers who prioritise shelf display and accurate external detail.
The Honda RC211V used a 990cc V5 four-stroke configuration in the premier-class period up to 2006. That season marked the final year for the 990cc layout prior to later rules changes. Team LCR ran a factory-supported RC211V during 2006; the bike is recognised for its distinctive cowling profiles, the three-exhaust arrangement and an airbox positioned ahead of the fuel tank.
The kit captures signature RC211V elements such as the shaped front and side cowlings, the triple-exhaust cluster and the pronounced airbox. New moulded parts produce a customised seat cowling matching the livery, and the included painting guide reproduces the white base with red and black shading used by the team. Cartograf decals are supplied for the No. 27 scheme as raced by Casey Stoner, and several body panels are secured with small precision screws so they can be removed to reveal internal sections.
Assembly follows a conventional multi-piece format intended for glue-and-paint construction; part alignment depends on the kit's designed attachment points and the screw-mounted cowling detail. Once built the model measures about 172 mm long and 55 mm wide, making it suitable for display or incorporation into 1/12 scale dioramas.
A finely detailed 1/12 scale representation of the Team LCR Honda RC211V 2006, the kit focuses on external authenticity and livery accuracy for builders who display completed models.
