This is a 1/12 scale plastic assembly kit representing the D'Antin Pramac Ducati GP4, intended as a detailed replica of the V4 truss-frame racing machine for model builders and collectors.
The real D'Antin Pramac Ducati began life as a satellite entry using Ducati Desmosedici machinery in the mid 2000s. The team campaigned a Desmosedici GP4-derived bike during the 2005 season, fitted with Dunlop-shod wheels and a distinctive red-and-black livery that included hibiscus flower motifs on the cowling. Rider Roberto Rolfo raced the No.44 machine that year, with the outfit operating as a support entry within Ducati's wider racing program.
The kit reproduces the GP4-style truss-frame and V4 layout associated with the Desmosedici lineage. Key kit items include newly tooled parts to represent NISSIN brake calipers and synthetic rubber tires that carry Dunlop markings specific to this release. Side and seat cowlings are produced to be removable after assembly so the engine area can be shown. The set includes a high-quality decal sheet to apply the race livery and rider numbers.
Assembly follows standard multi-part construction methods used for 1/12 motorcycle kits. Careful attention to frame alignment and correct placement of brake components will enhance realism; using decal setting solution and careful masking for the two-tone paintwork will produce the best finish. Tires are supplied as synthetic rubber parts to match the visual profile of race slicks at this scale.
A finely detailed 1/12 assembly kit that captures the GP4 truss-frame and race livery, providing display potential and parts-level detail for experienced builders and collectors.
