This is a 1/12 scale plastic model kit reproducing the 2003 Telefonica Honda RC211V, presented as a detailed assembly kit for display-focused model builders.
Honda developed the RC211V as a five-cylinder, four-stroke racing motorcycle that became a leading design in the early 2000s Grand Prix motorcycle racing field. The RC211V evolved through aerodynamic and chassis updates between 2002 and 2003, with teams adopting revised upper cowling shapes, intake configurations, and updated clutch and suspension parts. The Telefonica-backed machines wore a distinctive cobalt blue livery that season.
This kit captures the 2003 Telefonica Honda RC211V appearance, reproducing the cobalt blue bodywork and the fluorescent yellow checkered sponsor accents. Decals are provided to represent three riders from that year. The model includes a detailed V5 engine representation and a layout that mirrors the original engine and suspension arrangement. Upper and seat cowlings plus duct covers are fixed with small precision screws so they can be removed after assembly for display or inspection. Frame and swing arm components are finished with metal-plated parts to reflect the prototype surfaces.
A faithful 1/12 scale rendition of the 2003 Telefonica Honda RC211V that focuses on accurate external contouring and metal-finish details, intended for advanced model builders and collectors.
