13T alloy pinion for Tamiya 1/14 tractor trucks

This 13T alloy motor gear is made as a single-piece upgrade for Tamiya 1/14 scale tractor trucks and the TRU013T motor pinion is machined from 6061-T6 aluminium for RC gearbox use only.

Design notes: built to mate with both single-shaft and double-shaft rear gearbox layouts, the alloy pinion serves as a hardened replacement for the original plastic gear and helps protect the gear train under normal scale truck loads. The CNC-machined aluminium construction is chosen to resist deformation and provide consistent mesh during prolonged use.

Installation and tuning role: fits into the motor housing and matches standard 13T pinion meshes used across the listed Tamiya 1/14 models; verify shaft type before fitting. Upgrading to this alloy gear can reduce wear on plastic components and help stabilise gearbox behaviour when hauling or running heavier scale loads.

Included hardware and contents: 3x14 stainless steel button head screws - 8 pcs, 3x20 stainless steel button head screws - 4 pcs, and the alloy motor gear with mounting screw as supplied in the single-piece set.

Yes. The gear is shaped and sized to be compatible with both single-shaft and double-shaft rear gearbox setups listed in the compatible models, though you should confirm your shaft type before installing.
The package contains 3x14 stainless steel button head screws (8 pcs), 3x20 stainless steel button head screws (4 pcs), plus the alloy motor gear and its mounting screw as described.
Using the alloy pinion reduces wear on plastic mating gears and improves dimensional stability, which can lower the frequency of gearbox adjustments during heavy running or towing.
