Aluminum steering carrier for TA05 and TB-02

This aluminum hop-up is made for the TAMIYA TA05 and TB-02 touring car platforms. Machined and anodized in light blue, the part replaces the factory plastic steering block to deliver a firmer pivot point for the steering knuckle and linkage connections.

Fitting is simple: use the original mounting holes and the existing hardware to install the unit in place of the stock plastic component. During refit check steering geometry and linkage play so the chassis retains predictable turn-in and straight-line tracking.

From a setup perspective the steering block helps stabilise steering alignment under load and keeps a consistent relationship between the servo, tie-rods, and knuckles. Many builders fit this when they want increased durability and a more direct steering feel as part of a complete upgrade path with quality bearings and a responsive servo.

Choose this anodized aluminum steering block when replacing worn plastic components or when you want a firmer, more repeatable steering mount within a balanced chassis setup.

Yes. It is designed to replace the factory plastic block and accept the original mounting points and hardware without drilling or trimming.
No special fasteners are required; the part accepts the stock screws used on the compatible chassis.
Expect a firmer steering response and less flex at the knuckle under load, which can shift front-end bite and may need small trim or toe adjustments.
The light-blue anodize protects the aluminium and improves appearance; the performance gain comes from the metal construction and reduced flex.
