This bevel gear holder is a replacement component intended for Eagle, Freya, EX and SX model groups. It provides a stable mounting point to keep bevel gears in the correct position within the transmission stack and is intended for standard maintenance and modest setup adjustments of helicopter drivetrains.
The part functions as a locating and support element: it defines the bevel gear position in relation to the gearbox and the main and tail drive elements, helps reduce axial and radial play, and gives a repeatable reference when removing or refitting gears. It is supplied as a single replacement piece to be installed into the existing assembly without altering other drivetrain parts.
Installation guidance: after fitting, inspect gear mesh and check for any runout, resecure any screws to their original torque settings, and manually rotate the drivetrain to confirm correct engagement before powering up. Small axial shims or common shimming techniques can be used to fine tune backlash and ensure smooth gear operation.
