Light carbon radioplate for SRX8 GT V2

The Serpent 601259 radioplate set is a lightweight carbon component made to mount receiver and radio gear on compatible SRX8 platforms. It aims to reduce local flex at the electronics bay while keeping overall chassis geometry unchanged. This part helps tidy wiring and secures the receiver in a lower-profile position.

Installation is aimed at experienced builders: remove the original tray, position the carbon plate to match the factory mounting points and fasten with the supplied or original screws. Use the correct hex driver and check thread engagement; mock-up the servo and ESC to confirm clearance before final torque. The flat profile of the plate keeps the receiver and antenna stable and allows easy access for routine checks.

Tuning impact: fitting a stiffer radioplate reduces flex under braking and corner loads, which can make radio feedback more consistent and limit small movements of mounted components. It is helpful when fine-tuning chassis balance or experimenting with different servo and ESC layouts to alter weight distribution.

Compatibility: SRX8 GT V2, SRX8GTR EC GP SER600077.

Remove the factory radio tray, align the Serpent 601259 with the original mounting points, then reuse the factory screws. Confirm alignment and thread engagement before tightening.
The plate keeps standard servo clearance, but you should mock-up the servo to ensure the horn and leads clear the plate prior to final installation.
No special hardware is needed; use the original screws or equivalent metric fasteners and a matching hex driver, taking care not to strip the chassis threads.
By stiffening the radio area, the plate can reduce local flex and make steering and throttle inputs feel more repeatable during setup changes.
