Fine-tune slipper engagement on D-Max models

This is an RC-scale slipper adjustable kit designed for the D-Max series, intended to give fine control over slipper engagement without replacing a full clutch assembly. The kit is compact and focused on the adjustment interface used to tune traction and wheel slip behavior on model cars.

The SD-670SP provides an adjustable nut and spring combination that work together to alter how the slipper transfers torque under load; this lets you dial in slip characteristics for different track surfaces and driving styles. It is supplied as a small parts kit that integrates with the D-Max slipper system.

Installation is straightforward for experienced hobbyists: the parts replace or complement the existing slipper components and allow incremental changes to engagement by adjusting the nut preload on the spring. No special tools beyond standard hex drivers are required for basic setup, but follow your chassis manual for final assembly and torque settings.

Packing includes

  • Slipper Adjustable Nut - 1 pcs
  • Slipper Spring - 1 pcs
Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
The package contains one adjustable slipper nut and one slipper spring supplied as replacement tuning components for the D-Max slipper interface.
It is designed for the D-Max series slipper assemblies; verify your chassis slipper arrangement and mounting points to confirm compatibility before fitting.
Changing the nut alters spring preload, shifting the torque transfer threshold so you can tune slip onset for traction and stability across different surfaces.
