SLF Short II Shock Spring Details

This is a Yokomo YOKB7-14550 replacement spring made for SLF Short II short-travel shock assemblies used on 1/10 scale touring cars. The item carries the original designation 1.4 x 20 5L x 5.50T in a silver finish and is offered as an RC suspension spring rather than a complete shock unit.

Keep a set of these springs as spares or swap them in during tune sessions to change roll characteristics and response. Fit this spring only to the appropriate SLF Short II shock assembly and check preload and shaft alignment after reassembly to retain predictable handling.

Installation notes: compress the spring onto the shock shaft with the correct SLF Short II shock cap and spring retainer, ensure the spring seats properly on the perch, and cycle the shock to purge trapped air before final setup. Do not force the spring onto shock bodies that are not compatible.
