Rear CVD widening upgrade

This upgrade is built for the Traxxas Slash 4x4 family and pairs hardened steel with 6061 T6 aluminium to give a strong but balanced rear driveline for aggressive offroad running. The larger axle diameter is intended to tolerate higher impact loads from jumps and rough surfaces while the aluminium knuckle resists bending under side loads.

The set includes precision bearings for low friction rotation and a spring steel hex that keeps the hub connection tight under torque. Those features make the assembly a focused reinforcement for drivers wanting a tougher rear end without changing the whole driveline layout.

Installation notes: these items are a direct-fit replacement for the listed Slash variants. Inspect existing hub hardware for wear and trial-fit the parts to confirm clearance before regular use. This product is intended for RC-scale models only.

Which components come with the kit

The package includes the rear CVD shafts, spring steel wheel hexes, rear knuckle arms, 6x13x5 bearings, M4x2.5x11 screw pins and the set screws supplied with the original kit.

What materials are used in the build

Critical drive components use hardened steel and 6061 T6 aluminium, with a spring steel hex for the hub interface to maintain a strong connection under load.

Will these fit my Slash 4x4 without modification

They are designed as a direct-fit for the Slash 4x4 family listed above, but you should check your rear hub and suspension clearance before regular use.
