The Serpent 500911 unit is an RC-scale front shock coil spring with a 13mm diameter and a 4.1lbs spring rate in yellow, made for fine front-shock tuning and small suspension response tweaks.

As a direct spring element, it alters ride frequency and initial compliance of the front suspension. Fit it when changing roll stiffness, turn-in behavior, or adjusting ride height via spring preload on compatible shock bodies.

Fitting and setup tips:

• Make sure the spring sits squarely on the lower retainer and around the shock shaft to prevent binding.
• Increase preload in small steps and test on-track to judge front grip and response changes.
