This compact puller is an accessory for electric RC models that use small 22mm propeller adaptors on motor shafts. It is designed to help detach adaptor collars and press-fit prop parts from the motor shaft without stressing the shaft or surrounding components.
Design and role: the tool applies evenly distributed axial force around a 22mm adaptor interface, allowing safe extraction of propeller adaptors and hub-style fittings during routine maintenance, motor swaps, or when changing prop setups for performance tuning.
Installation and use notes: align the puller concentrically with the adaptor, apply steady axial pressure, and avoid lateral levering which can harm wave washers or bearings. If a prop hub resists removal, check and loosen the shaft nut and any set screws, and remove threadlocker before using the puller.
Tuning and workshop guidance: clean removal of adaptors preserves motor bearings and shaft ends from burrs and contamination, helping maintain alignment under different prop loads. Use gradual force in stages and verify there are no retained clips or spacers before full extraction.
