Front topdeck replacement for Schumacher FT9

This RC upper deck front is made for the Schumacher FT9 chassis and supplied as an aftermarket upgrade by Factory Pro labelled O-SCP034. The component uses Graphite 2.0 to replace the FT9 front topdeck section and lets you tune chassis stiffness and front-end response during setup work.

In setup terms this front deck changes torsional behaviour ahead of the centreline, which influences steering bite and consistency over bumps and undulating track sections. Use it as a measured change in your setup routine and record handling differences after each swap to isolate its effect.

Fitting is straightforward on standard FT9 layouts. Remove the topdeck screws that secure the front section, lift away the existing piece, align the new deck so the mounting holes line up with the chassis posts and refit the original fasteners. Check servo and steering linkage clearance before final torqueing. Use the correct hex driver and apply light, even torque to avoid crushing the graphite.
