Reinforced rear tower for RO2.0 performance

The Yokomo RO-018RDG is a rear shock tower and rear upper mount engineered for RC RO2.0 applications where suspension loads concentrate. The part is molded using a high-strength, graphite-containing resin at the load paths between the shock mounts and the upper arm mount, adding stiffness where the suspension transmits force.

On track the RO-018RDG reduces unwanted flex at the rear shock attachment points, helping the rear end maintain traction during acceleration and weight transfer. The component is intended for hobby use on compatible RO2.0 platforms and ROR-020 configurations.

Installation is straightforward for those used to swapping shock towers: remove the stock rear tower, transfer any existing hardware and shocks, then bolt the RO-018RDG in place using the original mounting points. No extra hardware is required beyond the chassis fasteners, but inspect thread engagement and torque to avoid stripping during reassembly.

For setup, expect a firmer rear attachment to change small-input response and roll-center behavior; review shock valving, spring rate, and anti-roll settings after fitting to regain the balance you want.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
It is designed for RO2.0 platforms and ROR-020 variants as listed; verify hole spacing and clearance on your chassis before fitting to ensure correct alignment.
No additional parts are specified. Reuse the stock mounting screws and hardware where possible, replacing any worn fasteners and confirming proper torque when reinstalling.
The graphite-containing resin increases stiffness at key load points, reducing flex. That typically improves rear traction and makes suspension responses crisper under acceleration and during transient weight shifts.
