Lacquer Spray for Scale RC Bodies

This Red Brown aerosol comes from the Mr. Color Spray range and is supplied as Mr.Hobby GSI-S41. It is intended as a finishing lacquer for scale car shells and small components where a smooth lacquer-style surface is wanted.

Compatibility and role: formulated for typical RC model materials, the product is made for topcoating painted plastic and resin parts on scale models, providing consistent colour and finish. It is a surface coating and not a structural or load-bearing part.

Application and tuning tips: clean and degrease surfaces before spraying, and use primers that are compatible with lacquer-style products when better adhesion is required. Apply several light, even passes from a steady distance, letting each pass flash off before adding more. Mask off areas that must remain unpainted and test-spray on scrap to check coverage and flow.

Storage and safety: keep the can upright in a cool, ventilated location away from direct heat sources, and observe basic workshop safety such as good ventilation and eye protection while spraying. Dispose of empty cans following local regulations for aerosols.
