YOKYS3000 Shock Oil Details

This Yokomo YOKYS3000 Super Blend Shock Oil #3000 is a silicone shock fluid supplied in a 35cc bottle for routine damper maintenance and fine-tuning of model shock absorbers. Its intended use is strictly for hobby-scale suspension damping adjustments and not for any full-size vehicle applications.

Use the 3000cSt oil when you want stronger damping resistance; selecting a lower viscosity yields quicker damper return and lighter damping. The formula is designed for silicone piston assemblies and common RC shock constructions.

When refilling, add the correct volume to the shock body, work out trapped air bubbles, then reassemble following your shock design. Keeping the same viscosity across all shocks helps keep predictable handling, while small changes let you tailor balance and traction for varying track conditions.

Store the bottle upright in a cool, dry place and keep the cap closed to prevent contamination. Dispose of unused synthetic fluid according to local waste rules. This product is supplied as an accessory for suspension tuning and maintenance.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
A 3000 rating means relatively high viscosity, so shocks move slower and provide stronger damping compared with lower values. Expect firmer response and reduced rapid oscillation.
You can mix oils, but the result is an average viscosity that may not match labels. Test a single shock first to verify handling before treating all shocks the same way.
Keep the cap tightly closed, store the bottle upright away from heat and sunlight, and avoid contamination to preserve viscosity and performance.
