Role in tuning: shock oil moderates damping speed by resisting piston travel inside the shock body. Selecting heavier or lighter oil changes traction, response in cornering, weight transfer behavior, and rebound characteristics. Use this product as part of stepwise tuning, swapping oil to observe handling changes while keeping other setup variables constant.
Installation notes: drain the old oil, check seals and shock shafts for wear, then refill slowly to reduce trapped air. Cycle the shock to expel bubbles and top up as needed. Use syringes or shock pumps made for RC shock maintenance to prevent contamination and overfilling.
