Installation normally requires a compatible folding prop hub and the correct blade orientation so the hinge moves freely. Confirm hub bore and locking method, torque components to the hub maker's recommendation, and perform a static balance plus a low-speed spin check on the ground to ensure there is no vibration transmitted to the motor or airframe.

Tuning with folding blades means matching prop characteristics to your motor and ESC: verify prop clearance from the airframe and control surfaces, confirm sufficient thrust for takeoff and climb, and perform incremental throttle tests while monitoring motor temperature and current draw.
