The Arrowmax am-210029 silicone diff fluid is supplied in a 59ml bottle and specified at 60.000cst. It is formulated for installation inside model car differentials to change damping characteristics and is not intended as a primary lubricant for gears or bearings.
How the fluid works: altering viscosity changes the speed of torque transfer between wheels under load, which influences traction transfer, cornering balance, and throttle response on scale cars. Fit it only in sealed diffs or gear-type limited-slip units that are designed to use silicone oil.
Refill procedure: drain the old fluid, inspect gears, bearings and seals for wear or contamination, then refill to the recommended volume for your diff type. Carry out the task in a clean area and avoid introducing dust or grit to the internals. Dispose of drained fluid in accordance with local regulations.
Tuning tips: make changes in small viscosity steps, test on a consistent surface and record handling changes before proceeding. Higher viscosity generally increases diff locking and mid-corner stability; lower viscosity allows quicker torque transfer and freer differential action.
Storage and handling: keep the bottle tightly capped and stored at room temperature out of direct sunlight. Avoid contact with painted finishes or plastics that may be affected by silicone oils, and wipe any spills immediately.
