RP-021 Replacement Rotor for Racing Performer Motors

The Yokomo RP-021 is a direct replacement rotor for the Racing Performer series of scale RC motors. It matches the series' standard magnet dimensions, listed as a 12.5mm outer diameter, 5.00mm inner diameter, and 25.3mm magnet length, allowing straightforward swaps where that rotor form factor is used.

Use this rotor when restoring an original Racing Performer motor or when replacing a worn or damaged rotor with the same specification. When fitting, confirm the rotor's inner bore aligns with your motor shaft and that the can and bearings are clear of rubbing points before powering the motor.

This part is intended for RC-scale motor maintenance and tuning; it is not designed for full-size vehicle applications.

Carefully remove the motor can, slide the RP-021 onto the shaft making sure the inner bore seats correctly, check axial clearance with the can and bearings, then reassemble and confirm the rotor spins freely before applying power.
Confirm the magnet outer diameter (12.5mm), inner diameter (5.00mm) and magnet length (25.3mm) match your motor's requirements and that the rotor bore fits your shaft snugly without play.
Check the can-to-rotor clearance by rotating the shaft slowly by hand after assembly, inspect bearing seating, and ensure magnet edges do not contact the can or windings.
Inspect the shaft for straightness, check bearings for wear, remove any debris or magnet fragments, and verify the can is undamaged before reassembly.
