Stiff upper A-arm mount summary

This hard upper A-arm mount is designed for the R12/GT500 platform and is supplied under the Yokomo YOKR12-09G part number. It replaces the standard upper arm mount to give a firmer pivot point and alter transient suspension response while leaving arm length and primary geometry unchanged.

Fitment is targeted at the R12 and GT500 chassis noted in the title. The component is intended as an aftermarket replacement to deliver crisper roll behavior and more consistent camber control through cornering for 1/12 scale track use.

Installation involves removing the factory upper arm mount and securing the replacement to the existing suspension towers and linkages on the R12/GT500 chassis. Because pivot stiffness is increased, expect changes in transient behavior; carry out gradual tests on track to dial in handling changes.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
It is produced as a direct replacement for the R12/GT500 upper arm mount, so standard installations should not require chassis modification.
The harder pivot reduces compliance, giving a sharper transient response and more stable camber under load. Test progressively to balance rotation and overall grip.
Check mounting screws and contact surfaces after initial track sessions and periodically thereafter to ensure fasteners remain secure and mating faces show no unusual wear.
Compatibility depends on the geometry of the arm and tower. It is guaranteed for R12/GT500 original-spec arms, so verify fit when pairing with third-party components.
