This Yokomo R12-18RSSH rear shock spring is a super hard copper coil designed specifically for the pitching damper on R12 and GT series 1/10 scale RC cars. It is supplied as a tuning item to alter damper feedback and increase suspension top-end stiffness without modifying internal damper components.

Fitment and function: the spring raises rear spring rate to limit pitch movement and improve stability under heavy acceleration or hard braking. It installs as a direct replacement on models that share R12/GT shock geometry and mounting dimensions.

Installation notes: fit like a standard rear coil spring, set preload correctly and verify full travel clearance. After fitting a super hard spring, retune damping and rebound settings to avoid underdamped response and retain consistent traction.
