Graphite upper brace: purpose and performance

This graphite upper brace is an RC-scale accessory made to accept rear friction-type shocks on compatible 1/12 racing chassis. It offers a dedicated, pre-drilled mounting surface so a friction shock assembly can be fixed in place while you fine-tune rear suspension behavior.

Fitting this brace alters rear load paths and can change roll and pitch response through corners, so expect noticeable changes in handling when you switch to a fixed friction-shock mount. Installation requires simple disassembly of the rear shock tower area and common hand tools; the chosen mounting hole positions determine shock stroke and leverage. No electrical parts are involved.

As with all scale components, verify tower geometry and hole alignment before fitting and inspect the part for burrs or debris that could affect the friction surface or fitment.
