Graphite short axle built for R12 Rear Narrow tuning

This short-type graphite rear axle is made for the Yokomo R12 Rear Narrow conversion. It serves as an RC-scale replacement shaft that expands the range of rear tread adjustment while keeping the original differential layout intact.

Fit this axle within an R12 conversion stack when you need finer rear track tuning; it pairs with the conversion differential side wheel hub, lower brace and upper brace supplied in R12 conversion kits. The axle functions as a compact mechanical tuning part to alter wheel offset and track width in the narrow rear configuration.

Installation notes: this axle swaps in for the stock rear shaft on R12 Rear Narrow setups and requires normal assembly of the conversion kit differential and hub components. Check clearance with the conversion hub and braces during assembly and verify full steering and suspension travel clearance before running.

Compatible models

  • YR-R12C3
  • YR-R12C31
Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
The axle is specified for use with YR-R12C3 and YR-R12C31 conversions; always cross-check the parts list or contact your vendor to confirm final compatibility.
Installation typically relies on the conversion kit's hubs and braces; verify that your kit includes the side hub, lower and upper braces before starting assembly.
Using a shorter shaft in a narrow rear layout shifts wheel offset and track width, which can alter balance and corner entry; make small adjustments and test on-track to dial in handling.
