Left rear hub designed for precise balance

This part is an RC-scale left rear hub designed specifically for the Yokomo R12 chassis. The hub increases the left-side thickness around the rear shaft to rebalance load distribution between left and right wheels, helping to produce more even traction across the rear axle.

The hub's perimeter is shaped to improve circumferential balance, which reduces irregular wheel rotation and lowers drivetrain losses that can become noticeable at higher speeds. These design changes address handling tendencies where one side of the rear end grips differently, so drivers can expect a more neutral corner exit when the part is installed and tuned appropriately.

Installation is straightforward for a standard R12 rear assembly: remove the stock left hub, fit the R12-24HLC into place, and verify wheel centring and bearing seating. No special tools are required beyond the usual hex driver and setup gauges, but confirm fastener torque and clearances after installation to avoid binding.

Tuning role: use this hub as part of a rebalancing strategy—combine it with tyre selection, ride height, and rear toe adjustments to dial in steady traction. It should be treated as one component in a setup package rather than a single fix for all rear-end issues.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
Remove the stock left hub, clean mating surfaces, slide the R12-24HLC onto the shaft, then check bearing seating and wheel centring before tightening fasteners to spec.
You should notice more balanced left-right traction and reduced uneven rear rotation, which typically produces a calmer, more predictable corner exit.
Periodically inspect hub fit, bearing seating, and fastener torque; clean away track debris and recheck clearances after heavy use.
You can use offsets or spacers, but any change to wheel position affects geometry and may reduce the hub's intended rebalancing; verify alignment and clearance when mixing parts.
