This Yokomo YX-40CY kit supplies the cylinder, AJ adjustment nut and replacement O-rings used in the pitching damper of 1/12 on-road competition cars. It is an aftermarket accessory intended to adjust pitching response and spring preload on compatible chassis.

The cylinder is finished with a Kashima-style hard anodized coating to lower friction between piston and bore during travel, helping preserve a consistent damping feel. The set is designed for parts-level replacement and small tuning changes rather than a complete damper rebuild.

Installation notes: replace worn O-rings and check sealing after assembly, thread the AJ nut to set spring preload, and confirm smooth piston movement before running. Inspect components after a few sessions to watch for O-ring compression and finish wear.
