A 1/72 scale plastic assembly kit representing the P-51D Mustang, positioned within the manufacturer's aircraft series as a compact display model for hobby construction and collecting.
The North American P-51D Mustang was developed during World War II as a long-range escort fighter. The D variant saw performance gains from the Packard-built Rolls-Royce Merlin engine and the introduction of the bubble canopy, giving pilots improved visibility and extended high-altitude range. Equipped with six .50 caliber machine guns, the P-51D escorted bomber streams and served across Allied air forces late in the war.
Presented under the "Aces" theme, this release highlights wartime marking choices linked to notable fighter pilots. The kit is produced as a traditional injection-moulded plastic assembly model common to this scale. Builders should allow time for routine modelling tasks such as trimming parts from sprues, cleaning seams, painting, and masking the clear canopy to reach display quality.
A straightforward 1/72 representation of the P-51D Mustang intended for display-focused modelling; suitable for collectors and hobby builders after a World War II escort fighter subject.
