Built for rugged rear suspension use

This Yokomo YOKRP-084BK rear spring is an RC-scale replacement part built for off-road suspension use. It is supplied as a single-purpose coil to fit on compatible rear shock assemblies, providing basic springing for rear suspension setups while not implying model-specific fitment.

Installation is straightforward for typical coil-over shock designs: remove the shock from the chassis if needed, relieve preload, slide the spring over the shock shaft and seat it on the spring perch, then reapply preload and reassemble. Verify that the spring free length and inner diameter match your shock's retainer and shaft before final fitment.

During setup, rear springs affect rear-end balance, traction and rebound response. Pair these springs with suitable shock oil viscosity, preload adjustment and travel limits to dial in the handling. Make small changes and test on representative loose surfaces to observe how spring rate and preload change rotation and traction.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
Measure your shock's spring perch diameter and the shaft clearance, then compare those values to the spring inner diameter and free length shown by the retailer to confirm mounting compatibility prior to purchase.
Retail pack quantities differ by seller; check the specific product listing for the exact number of pieces included so you know whether you need to order multiples.
Remove the shock if needed, reduce preload to relieve tension, slide the spring into place and seat it on the perch, then reset preload and reassemble. Double-check clearance and travel before running.
