The Arrowmax AM-MTX5-H0764 is a hard clutch spring manufactured from spring steel as an aftermarket hop-up for Mugen MTX-5 applications. It installs into MTX-5 clutch assemblies to modify engagement characteristics in electric 1/8 scale rigs.

Purpose and tuning: the higher spring rate increases preload and produces a firmer engagement, helping drivers achieve a crisper throttle response when stock springs feel too soft. Use this spring alongside shoe selection, bell surface condition, and careful gear mesh adjustments to fine tune overall clutch behaviour.

Fitment and installation: supplied as a single replacement spring sized for the MTX-5 clutch stack. Check orientation and seat against the original spring before final assembly, work on a tidy bench, confirm free rotation of the clutch bell, and test engagement gradually to prevent excess drivetrain load.
