This rear upper suspension shaft is engineered for the MUGEN MRX-5 chassis and supplied by Arrowmax under model AM-MRX5-J0105U. Constructed from spring steel and coated in titanium nitride, the shafts are intended to reduce surface friction and offer better wear resistance compared with standard hardware.
In use these shafts act as key pivot and load points in the rear suspension, helping preserve geometry and limit slop at mounting locations. The TiN finish reduces contact friction with bushings and bearings, which can yield smoother suspension movement and more predictable handling during setup and on the track.
Fitting is straightforward for hobbyists familiar with routine maintenance: remove the original rear upper shafts, inspect mating bushings and bearings for wear, then install the Arrowmax replacements. Standard hand tools are typically adequate for removal and refit, and it is good practice to recheck alignment and fastener torque after a few runs to confirm correct seating.
The package includes 2 pcs of rear upper suspension shafts supplied as a matched left and right set for the MRX-5 rear assembly.
