High-wear clutch pinion for Mugen MRX-5

The Arrowmax AM-MRX5-H0759 1st Gear 18T is a dedicated clutch pinion produced for use with the Mugen MRX-5 platform. Machined from 7075-T6 aluminium and finished with a hard coating, it resists abrasion under normal electric RC loads and serves as a direct replacement or upgrade for MRX-5 clutch setups.

Its role is to transfer torque from the motor pinion to the spur gear inside the gearbox, and the hard-coated 7075 material helps maintain surface integrity for consistent meshing. This part is compatible with standard MRX-5 spur gears and supports predictable tuning when swapping tooth counts.

The series includes 16T, 17T, 18T, 19T, 20T and 21T options to let you adjust overall gear ratio without changing the motor pinion. When installing a new 1st gear, check spline engagement and the clutch interface on your MRX-5 to confirm correct backlash and engagement before running.
