Translucent orange clear for hobby bodies

Mr.Hobby GSI-S49 is supplied as a ready-to-spray aerosol formulated to deliver a translucent orange clear coat for scale RC bodies, letting you add a subtle colour overlay while keeping decals and panel detail visible.

Prepare surfaces by ensuring base paints are fully cured and masking areas you do not want tinted. Apply light, even passes rather than a single heavy coat to avoid runs; allow short flash times between passes and trial on a scrap panel before final spraying. This product modifies underlying hues without obscuring fine decals or panel lines when used with correct masking.

To control saturation, build the tint gradually with multiple thin layers and, if needed, sand and polish the base clear for a smoother sheen prior to application. Store the can upright in a cool, dry place away from direct heat and use in a well ventilated area.
