Fine and coarse sanding sheets for scale model work

The Mr.Hobby GSI-GT20 sand paper set supplies the three most used grits - 180, 240 and 320 - in a compact six piece pack for RC scale model surface work. These sheets are made for manual sanding tasks such as trimming flash, evening out filler and preparing surfaces before primer and paint.

Progress from the coarser 180 grit to the finer 320 grit to remove tooling marks and refine edges; use light, controlled strokes and inspect small components like body panels, bumpers and detail parts frequently. The sheets are sized for hand use and pair well with small sanding blocks when a flat surface is needed for larger panels.

Keep separate sheets for putty work and for final paint preparation to avoid cross contamination. On thin plastics or delicate details, start with minimal pressure and back the sheet with a thin block to prevent over sanding edges.
