MR-04 Compatible Front Bumper

This Kyosho MZN-B04 front bumper is an RC-scale replacement component made to fit MR-04 chassis arrangements and the Porsche962C body style that uses an IC tag location. It is a direct-fit front-end part intended to restore or fine-tune the Mini-Z chassis nose without altering the main chassis rails.

Compatibility is focused on MR-04 based Mini-Z layouts and Porsche962C-style bodies that include the IC tag cutout. Installation uses the MR-04 front mounting points and the chassis' existing hardware; the bumper lines up with body posts and fastens using the original mounting approach to preserve scale spacing and clearance.

Will this bumper mount to standard MR-04 front posts without modification?

It is designed to use the MR-04's original front mounting points; in most MR-04 kits the bumper fits without altering the chassis. Confirm your front post locations match the MR-04 pattern if you have a modified chassis.

Are replacement screws or hardware included with the bumper?

The bumper is intended to be installed with the MR-04 chassis' existing fasteners. If your original screws are missing, source MR-04 compatible mounting hardware separately.

Does the IC tag provision align with standard Porsche962C body cutouts?

Yes — the design keeps the IC tag area intact so bodies trimmed for the Porsche962C that reference that tag location will retain correct alignment for lap timing gear. Double-check your body cutout positions before fitting.

Will fitting this bumper change suspension or drive settings?
